Pekins Ferry wedding

Kris O'Tey, Amy, and their adorable son Max tied the knot, and I had the opportunity to photograph their special day. The wedding was held outdoors near water which made excellent backdrops. Kris and Amy's family have the amazing property the wedding took place on. It made for an pretty sweet camping setup for the friends to stay over night and indulge in the celebration responsibly...What a great idea!

Here are some shots, feedback is appreciated (click to enlarge):

I must say, the groomsmen are looking like a mafia.
look at those eyes

Banksy on NW 23rd?

Today I came across a very pleasant surprise while walking about The City of Roses, a.k.a. Portland, Oregon. Portland is known for having hip, artsy neighborhoods, but NW 23rd might just take the cake for the the hippest, most laid back area in PDX. Equally hip and potentially laid back, graffiti artist Banksy may have made an appearance upon a building located on 23rd. For those of you who haven't heard of the graffiti artist, Banksy I am significantly surprised, because he is recognized worldwide; his fame is particularly unusual because no one knows for sure who Banksy's true identity is. Illusive by the nature of his work, Banksy continues to be a mystery. It's quite possible that Banksy could have a following that is recreating Bansky pieces around the world(possibly, even on an artsy avenue in Portland); however, I like the story far better that illustrates Banksy himself creeping in the dark to create a masterpiece to be seen in the daylight.

Check out these images I captured of a possible Banksy piece (click to enlarge):

Banksy with a psychedelic twist.

I can't wait to adventure around the city searching for the possibility to see more in person!

A new Addition to the Mercer Family.

I've returned again blogosphere! I have been out of town and all around the past few weeks but I plan on updating my blog as well as getting with my website guru and establishing a real life website (yay!) within the next week.

Let me begin updating my blog by sharing with you the lovely wedding of Shawn and Leesa Mercer. I had the pleasure of accompanying my amazing photographer friend, Elyse Canfield to the Mercer knot tying. Not only was the ceremony/reception beautiful but the couple literally could be on the cover of a magazine, see for yourself... by the way you can click to enlarge:
