Banksy on NW 23rd?

Today I came across a very pleasant surprise while walking about The City of Roses, a.k.a. Portland, Oregon. Portland is known for having hip, artsy neighborhoods, but NW 23rd might just take the cake for the the hippest, most laid back area in PDX. Equally hip and potentially laid back, graffiti artist Banksy may have made an appearance upon a building located on 23rd. For those of you who haven't heard of the graffiti artist, Banksy I am significantly surprised, because he is recognized worldwide; his fame is particularly unusual because no one knows for sure who Banksy's true identity is. Illusive by the nature of his work, Banksy continues to be a mystery. It's quite possible that Banksy could have a following that is recreating Bansky pieces around the world(possibly, even on an artsy avenue in Portland); however, I like the story far better that illustrates Banksy himself creeping in the dark to create a masterpiece to be seen in the daylight.

Check out these images I captured of a possible Banksy piece (click to enlarge):

Banksy with a psychedelic twist.

I can't wait to adventure around the city searching for the possibility to see more in person!
